Zero Tolerance Policy
The client and their guests are expected to always maintain a professional and respectful relationship with our estheticians.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if we feel the safety or wellbeing of anyone in the suite is jeopardized. Violation of our Zero Tolerance, or Intimate Service Policies will result in a 100% cancellation fee, expulsion from the premises, the client banned from receiving future services and may result in further legal action up to and including a police report, and/or criminal and civil consequences.
WEAPONS: Possessions of weapons of any kind on property, including the parking areas. is prohibited.
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS: The unlawful use, distribution, possession, or sale of alcohol, drugs, or other controlled substances on property are prohibited. If you or your guest are suspected of being under the influence at the time of your appointment, the esthetician will end service, and a 100% cancellation is applied.
RECORDING DEVICES: Violating personal boundaries of others through social media, phone advances or solicitation are prohibited. Video and photography are not allowed during a waxing service without prior consent.
HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION, AND ABUSE: We have zero tolerance for verbal, emotional, or physical harassment or discrimination of any kind. While it is impossible to list every type of behavior that can be considered bullying or harassment in violation of this policy: in general, any conduct that could interfere with an individual's work performance or create a hostile situation is forbidden. Even mild offensive conduct can be considered bullying or harassment if someone has made it clear that it is unwelcome.
The following actions are examples of prohibited behavior:
VERBAL: We have zero tolerance for any type of harassing, bullying, or inappropriate verbal behavior. Examples include but are not limited to, requests for “extra services”, derogatory or sexist comments, degrading sexual remarks; comments on a person's body or sex life, using profane, obscene or abusive language, racial, cultural religious, gender based, ethnic or sexual orientation slurs or epithets, innuendos, advancements, coercion, suggestive conduct, requesting dates or to contact our estheticians outside of business channels, any language, or intimidation related to the same.
NON-VERBAL: Intimidating or confrontational body language; gestures, staring, touching, hugging, or patting; blocking a person's movement; standing too close; brushing against a person's body; guests exposing themselves; guests touching the esthetician inappropriately; guests inappropriately touching themselves; guests refusing to wear provided coverings; any form of masturbation, sexual gestures, or unwanted physical touch. We have a very simple rule that is 100% non-flexible: the power of professional touch only goes one way: Estheticians to client.
CONSEQUENCES: After confirming that harassment or assault by a client has occurred, appropriate action will be taken to address the situation. This may include but is not limited to:

The esthetician may issue a warning or may decide to end the appointment immediately depending on the offense The client will be charged 100% for the session even if the session ends early.

Banning the client from scheduling future appointments at the clinic.

Involving law enforcement authorities, if necessary and appropriate.
By implementing and enforcing this zero-tolerance policy, we are reaffirming our commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for all staff members and clients alike. We urge all everyone who visits our salon to join us in promoting a culture of respect, professionalism, and zero tolerance for sexual harassment or discrimination.
